Your Mission
We build technology to protect those who protect us. We are not just prototyping; we are activelydelivering on federal defense projects with real-world impact. Our systems have been rigorouslyvalidated in the field by the personnel who ultimately rely on them. In our domain, hope is not a strategy.Every system we deploy must be mercilessly tested, because a failure in the field impacts the safetyand success of forces on the ground. You are the ultimate gatekeeper for our localization andcommunication systems. You bridge the gap between theoretical requirements and harsh physicalreality. Before any hardware or software reaches the operator, it must pass through you. You willdesign, build, and execute the Verification & Validation (V&V) strategies that ensure our systemssurvive and perform in the most demanding environments imaginable.

What You Will Do

  • V&V Strategy & Execution: Youdefine and execute comprehensive test plans for complex, multilayered hardware and software systems.
  • Environmental & Field Testing: You take our systems out of the lab and into the real world. You manage field tests in Erding and coordinate environmental qualification testing (e.g.,temperature, shock, vibration according to MIL-STD-810 or similar standards).
  • Automated & SIL/HIL Testing: You don't just test manually. You build and maintain Software-inthe-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test rigs, writing scripts to automate rigorousregression testing.
  • Requirements Traceability: You work closely with Project Management to ensure stricttraceability. You prove that every single customer requirement has a corresponding, passed testcase before delivery.
  • Failure Analysis: When something breaks, you lead the root-cause analysis. You dissect logs,analyze hardware faults, and provide the engineering teams with precise data to fix the issue.

Your first 5 months – What You’ll Be Proud to Have Achieved

  • Test Landscape Mapped: You know our systems, our test infrastructure (SIL/HIL rigs), and ourcurrent V&V documentation inside out.
  • First Test Campaign Owned: You've independently planned and executed at least one full testcampaign, from test plan to signed-off report.
  • Field Testing Experience: You've run or supported an on-site field or environmental test in Erdingand know how to handle issues as they come up in real time.
  • Traceability Established: You've worked with Project Management to map customerrequirements to test cases and closed key traceability gaps.
  • First Root Cause Solved: You've led a failure analysis from symptom to root cause and handedengineering a clear, data-backed fix recommendation.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Proven experience in Systems Engineering, specifically focusing on Testing, Verification, and Validation for complex integrated systems (hardware, software, RF).
  • The Breaker Mindset: You possess a systematic, highly analytical approach to finding flaws. You are not satisfied until you know exactly where and why a system fails.
  • Methodological Knowledge: Familiarity with defense or aerospace testing and quality standards (e.g., V-Modell XT, MIL-STDs, DO-160, AQAP) is highly desirable. You understand the documentation rigor required for military procurement.
  • Technical Chops: You are proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate test environments and can confidently read system logs and analyze technical data.
  • Communication: Flawless German is required to write formal test reports for government authorities, alongside fluent English for internal engineering alignment.
Clearance: Due to the nature of our work, you must be eligible for a German security clearance (SÜ2/Ü2). Generally, this requires German citizenship or long-term residency within EU/NATO countries.
